Whether you’re floating around in the rim-flow pool, or enjoying a cocktail at the pool bar or relaxing on a comfy sun-lounger next to the dam, you’ll instantly recognize that you are in a very special place. With harvey roofs and large glass folding doors which completely open up the inside spaces to panoramic views out over the dam and the Drakensberg mountains.
Each treehouse Suite is built three meters up in the air and has large glass doors that fills the rooms with natural light and enhances the feeling of spaciousness. The suites open out onto a hardwood deck with a romantic hammock area overlooking the mountains and bush. Each bathroom has a large glass panel for guest to enjoy the stunning views (In full privacy) and animals browsing beneath their rooms.
Enjoy an outdoor shower that is designed to look out over the giant Maroela trees whilst enjoying the sunshine and the stars at night. At the pool area guests will be entertained by watching the animals drinking at the dam while keeping an eye and ear out for the African Fish Eagles in the beautiful trees lining the dam.

Terms & Conditions of Booking at Maroelani
Minimum stay of 2 nights, unless otherwise specified. 1-night stays on request only.
Recommended length of stay is 3 nights.
The bush villa can accommodate children, the main lodge allows Children above the age
of 10, due to the layout of the lodge rooms, regrettably children under the age of 10 are
not allowed, please see the bush villa for a child friendly safari option
If cancelling 7 days before arrival, forfeit 75% of the booking total.
If cancelling 15 days before arrival, forfeit 50% of the deposit.
If cancelling 30 days before arrival, forfeit 25% of the deposit.
If a booking cannot take place at the last minute due to Covid-19 restrictions, for example a
travel ban in South Africa or in the country of origin, then we offer 100% refund or
postponement to new dates.
If there is a personal Covid-19 issue, not covered by client’s Travel Insurance (such as a
Covid-19 diagnosis or denied boarding), we aim to be as flexible as possible. Please discuss
